The Fizzy Sherbet Podcast is an international platform for women writers and directors. In each episode we present a new short play, an interview with the playwright and a further interview with a special guest. Our mission is to create a global network of artists. To enable plays and voices to travel across borders and to open up a more directly accessible way of distributing new plays and playwrights and for audiences - from theatre makers, artistic directors, theatre lovers to podcast lovers - to get to know contemporary playwrights in different countries. We also have Fizzy Chats with theatre makers and artists from around the world, who are working tirelessly to instigate change, cross borders and create exciting new work.

The fifth episode of the pilot series presents the play Jellyfish Blooms by Marie Bjørn, directed by Anna Girvan and performed by Anna-Sofie Fredslund, with sound design by Julian Starr. The play was translated from Danish by Mathias Ravn.
The play is followed by an interview with Marie Bjørn and special guest Heather Anne Swanson.
The message from the sea in Jellyfish Blooms is "We're taking over your world. You're dying out anyway."
